Colophon
A handbook, not a tutorial.
What this is
A reference of 756 hand-checked PostgreSQL queries, arranged into 12 chapters and indexed against a single eleven-table operational schema. Read it cover to cover or jump to a chapter when you need it — every page is self-contained.
How to read it
Each chapter opens with a short orientation and a numbered list of queries, from easy to advanced. Open a query to see the SQL, a note on why the query is shaped the way it is, and links to the tables it touches in the appendix.
What was cut
The source bank contained a handful of duplicate queries — same SQL under different titles. Those were collapsed; the clearer commentary won. Decorative emoji icons were removed throughout. The schema and chapter labels are typeset, not iconified.
The set
Typefaces are Fraunces for display, Inter Tight for running text, and JetBrains Mono for code. The page colour is a warm parchment; the accent is oxblood, used sparingly. No tracking; no accounts; the only network request after first load is the one your clipboard makes when you copy a query.
